These sanitizer gels are made with 70% and 75% ethyl alcohol (ethyl alcohol) as recommended by the CDC. When looking at purchasing alcohol based bulk hand sanitizer, the CDC warns to not purchase sanitizer made with methanol or 1-propanol for a number of reasons.
